Vogart

And the 1980s were just beginning!

Those who were lucky enough to be in their twenties in the 1980s cannot help but remember the carefree and bubbly atmosphere of that unforgettable period. And it was in the early 1980s that Luciano Espositi, an incredible figure in Italian eyewear with ideas that were innovative to say the least, created a casual eyewear collection for the De Rigo group, but with hints of luxury and with superior quality details, aimed mainly at the female world and named it “Vogart.” Designer Bruno Palmegiani, who later took over the project, then continued Espositi’s work with his evolution dated 1983 that would be named with another legendary name: “Police,” a brand that was really popular throughout the 1980s and part of the following decade.

When it is available, we provide vintage Vogart glasses with their own original cases, except for those that have deteriorated with time.
