Karl Lagerfeld

Karl Lagerfeld: “I find dark glasses are like wearable eye-shadows.”

Karl Otto Lagerfeld, “The Kaiser”, stylist and photographer, film director, designer and editor, renowned throughout the world for his infinite talent, was also famous for his outfit consisting of a black suit, tie, white shirt and pony tail. However, Karl Lagerfeld never removed his dark sunglasses on any of his outings.
Entertaining, exuberant and often scathing, in an interview with Le Monde the designer said: “I find dark glasses are like wearable eye-shadows. The world is more beautiful through tinted glasses and everyone becomes ten years younger. That’s why I always wear dark glasses.”
In 2018, Karl Lagerfeld shook the fashion world to the core because he appeared in public without his inseparable sunglasses…
All Karl Lagerfeld creations are recognisable by the obvious logo on the arms, as in the model Karl Lagerfeld 4122 or Karl Lagerfeld 4114.
When it is available, we provide Karl Lagerfeld vintage glasses with their own original case, except for those that have deteriorated over time.
